Join our LES Standards Development Organization and help transform the future of IP and Licensing. By bringing together standards professionals, business leaders, subject-matter experts, and cross-sector stakeholders from nearly every industry and society, ANSI membership fosters collaboration, networking, information-exchange, and strategic support.

Standards Membership Opportunities:

Enterprise Membership: $500 annually for as many participants as you like. You may also participate in as many committees as you wish. Enterprise Membership participants get to help set LES Standards Strategies and help shape standards themselves. Get early insight and a head start on compliance and implementation.

Consensus Standards Partnership Membership: $250 annually for a single member of an organization to participate as the final consensus voting body for approval or disapproval of any LES standard. This membership level allows you to vote on standards, but not participate in development of them through committees.

  • FRAND Licensing – creating industry-wide business process standards for businesses and professionals engaged in licensing standard essential patents on fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms, thereby reducing transaction costs and management expenses.
  • Intellectual Capital Management for Startups – developing standards to enhance the value of early-stage enterprises (at funding and at exit) reduce IP risk and reduce costs for entitites that adoopt and practice the standard in connection with securing and protecting their intellectual assets.
  • IP Brokerage – creating transaction-centered business process requirements for agents, buyers, and sellers of IP assets.
