Director

ROBIC

Amélie Côté is a principal and lawyer in the Business Law sector at ROBIC and is part of the Emerging Technologies Group as well as the Life Sciences Group. Her practice is focused on commercial law and intellectual property law, with a notable emphasis on technology transfers and licensing. She advises various companies, from start-ups to SMEs, consortiums, not-for-profits and multinationals, on the elaboration and execution of strategies relating to the research, development, protection and commercialization of their intellectual property assets.

Amélie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), a Master of Science in Biology with a major in Life Sciences and Law (M.S.V.D.) and a Juris Doctor (JD). She is also the author of several publications and conferences relating to intellectual property and licensing matters. She has also been recognized among “Best Lawyers – Ones to Watch” in Intellectual Property Law in the past years as well as “Lawyer of Year – Technology Law and Intellectual Property” in 2024 by the Young Bar of Montreal.
