Bob was appointed part-time CEO of LES USA & Canada in June 2024. He is also President of Held Intellectual Property, LLC, an intellectual property business consulting firm, and worked for Tele-Communication Systems, Inc. (TCS) in Annapolis, Maryland, as the Vice President of Intellectual As
set Management, responsible for the strategic management and monetization of TCS’s IP portfolio. Immediately before joining TCS, Bob worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Systems Sector, as the Director of the Intellectual Property & Strategic Technology Agreements group. He also worked at the IP firm British Technology Group (BTG) International, headquartered in London.

Since May 2025, Bob has also served on the Board of Directors of the Licensing Executives Society International. Bob was the President and Chairman of the LES Board of Directors from 2018-2019. He was also Senior Vice President of Sponsorship and Co-Chair of the 2023 LES/LES International Montreal meeting in 2023 and the 2024 New Orleans meeting. Bob has been chairing the LES High Tech
Royalty Rate Survey since 2010, and has been an active member since 1998.

Bob is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) and was named to the “IAM Strategy 300–The World’s Leading IP Strategists” since 2015. Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Drexel University’s LeBow College of
Business.
