Licensing Executives Society Announces Distinguished Board of Directors for 2019-2020 Term

Diverse Group Includes Intellectual Property and Licensing Leaders Representing Innovation-Centered Organizations of All Sizes and Types

RESTON, Va. – Oct. 21, 2019 --The Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada), Inc. (LES) has elected new members to itsBoard of Directors for 2019-2020. The additions extend the organization's broad leadership representation from the licensing industry, ensuring that LES continues to engage and empower those involved in LES' intellectual property (IP) and standards communities while progressing toward its goals.

"Welcome to the new LES Board of directors, a diverse group with strong leadership skills and broad experience in the licensing industry. Their abilities and expertise will enable LES to continue moving forward energetically on our important initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our members and our sectors," said outgoing LES President and Chair Bob Held.

As part of the Executive Committee's seamless leadership transition, Gary Fedorochko, previously LES' president-elect, moves into the role of president and chair of LES. Director Gillian Fenton has been named president- and chair-elect, and Rachel Kreppel is now counsel to the board.

"I'm grateful for this opportunity to serve LES and represent our members. I am committed to working diligently to advance the LES vision and mission and hope to connect and inspire everyone involved in LES and the broader licensing industry," said Fedorochko. "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Bob Held for his dedicated service to LES during his term as President and Chair. Bob’s commitment and leadership has provided me with a roadmap to continue enhancing LES.”
