In this webinar, a panel of industry experts will discuss how taxation considerations can influence everything from the structure to the price and the overall success of a deal.

Sam Wiley - VALUENEX Inc.

Sam is an IP technology and analytics expert, focused on helping companies and law firms make better IP and innovation decisions. Sam recently joined VALUENEX, INC, a Japan-based firm that specializes in high-end predictive analytics and data visualizations for the innovation ecosystem

 

 

Oren Ben Dor - Director, Global Tax Planning and M&A at Microsoft Corporation

Oren is a Director of Global Tax Planning and M&A at Microsoft Corporation. Prior to joining Microsoft, Oren was a Senior Manager in the EY Silicon Valley office focusing on M&A, and a tax attorney with two large New York City law firms. Oren has earned an L.L.M degree (with Distinction, Dean's List) from the Georgetown University Law Center, and an L.L.B degree from the Tel Aviv University Law School. Mr. Ben Dor has been a member of the NY Bar since 2010 and of the Israel Bar since 2007. 

 

Peter Chapman - Senior Director, Global Tax Planning at ON Semiconductor Corporation

Peter is a Senior Director of Global Tax Planning at ON Semiconductor Corporation where he is responsible for M&A diligence, transfer pricing, and post-acquisition integrations. Prior to joining ON Semiconductor, Peter was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young focused on international tax planning, supply chain design, and intellectual property migrations. Peter has an MBA and B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Indiana. 

Gary Peters, Transfer Pricing Lead, Stripe

Gary is the Transfer Pricing Lead at Stripe. Prior to joining Stripe, Gary was a Director on Microsoft’s transfer pricing team responsible for IP valuation and integration and a Senior Manager in EY’s Seattle transfer pricing practice.  Gary has a Masters in Accountancy from University of Notre Dame and a BA in Economics from Albion College. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Washington.
