The recent COVID-19 pandemic threatens to inflict significant and unprecedented economic harm worldwide. In the business sector, many high tech and life sciences companies have to deal with the prospect of slowing activities and looming layoffs. At the same time, many of these companies have a large portion of their corporate value captured in their intangible assets. Furthermore, many startups and small businesses, who don’t have access to capital markets, rely on their IP assets to leverage funding for growth. Sustaining the value of these assets becomes a necessity and a challenge in this uncertain economic climate.

This webinar will provide insights from two leading investors who focus their investment activities on IP assets. The panelists will describe their investment models and strategies, how they identify and value IP assets, how they see the value of IP assets changing with the recent economic turmoil, and what are some long and short term actions companies can take to preserve and leverage their IP in the post-pandemic environment.
