Come learn and ask about products, apps, or brands eligible for trademark protection in 2020. It will be an interactive Q & A event covering trademarks and trade dress for your business, practice, and clients. We will also discuss steps for trademark enforcement with online retailers and app stores.
The Philadelphia Chapter won an award for Excellence in Chapter Leadership at the LES Annual Event. To share the award with the community, the event is free for LES members up to a limit. It is also discounted for non-members and students.
Networking time is available before and after the event.

Cynthia is the Director of the Detkin Intellectual Property and Technology Legal Clinic, a “teaching law firm” at Penn Law giving students the chance to help clients set and implement IP strategy. She specializes in the business applications of intellectual property and technology, and writes and speaks extensively around the country in these areas. As Detkin Clinic director, she works closely with the Penn Center for Innovation (PCI) and Penn Law’s Center for Technology, Innovation and Competition (CTIC).

Michael was former Chief IP Counsel at Danaher Corp. Currently at Dechert, Michael draws on his extensive background in electrical engineering to represent medical device, electronics, computer, and semiconductor companies in complex patent and trade secret litigation matters. He also devotes part of his practice to patent licensing, patent counseling, and software copyright matters.
