Join LES Toronto for an insightful and lively discussion on lessons learned from the battlefield. Nicholas Wilson, VP of Litigation at WiLan, would like to share his insights and experience on how to manage and license IP on technologies being used, including their recent victory against Apple.

Nicholas Wilson- VP Licensing & Senior Counsel-WiLan
Since 2005, Nicholas has been working in the patent field and has gained considerable experience in all things patent. This includes extensive experience developing, acquiring, prosecuting, licensing and litigating patents around the world. Prior to working at patent licensor WiLAN, Nicholas worked for BlackBerry as a member of the patent team. At BlackBerry he helped grow a portfolio from tens of patents to thousands and worked on some of the first efforts at defending and monetizing the portfolio. At WiLAN, Nicholas directs prosecution, licensing and litigation in key jurisdictions around the world.
