LES Research Triangle Park Chapter presents:

Alliance Formation and Implementation – Bottoms Up

Tuesday, September 26, 2017: 11:45 am - 1:30 pm Eastern

Year after year, the annual PricewaterhouseCoopers CEO survey has been showing that at least 50% of global CEOs are wanting to form alliances in the coming 12 months. Alliances have long been perceived as a quick and cost-effective way to fulfill strategic objectives vs organic or inorganic initiatives. However, alliances tend to have a ~50% failure rate, meaning most do not achieve their full objectives. Many of the common pitfalls can be attributed to the ‘throw the contract over the fence’ alliance lifecycle process. If companies employed a more collaborative engagement with their stakeholders during the early part of the alliance lifecycle process, many of these common pitfalls could be avoided.

Using real world examples, attendees will Learn
Alliance Lifecycle Process:  Alliance Formation, Implementation, Transformation
The common pitfalls of Alliances
Characteristics of Successful Alliances
Intra-, Inter-Stakeholder Engagement:  Best Practices
