LES (USA & Canada) Compensation Surveys

Conducted on a biannual basis since 2003, LES Compensation Surveys summarize LES member compensation in an attempt to benchmark current compensation practices for licensing professionals.

In particular, these reports illustrate the median salary ranges for licensing professionals in a numbers of industries, and provides comparable compensation data for the most prevalent position titles. Results are also summarized by geographic region and related compensation factors including bonus availability and stock options or stock grants.

2011 LES Compensation Survey - Now Available!

Survey Highlights

  • More than 850 responses received from 4,000 members surveyed (a 21% response rate)
  • More than 37% of responses were from members at industrial corporations. Responses were closely representative of industry sectors in the survey population.
  • Most prevalent job titles were Director (24%) and Technology Transfer Professional (19%)
