This encore presentation, originally presented at the LES 2016 Annual Meeting will identify and discuss the top 10 court decisions during the past year affecting licensing. • How we initiate patent license negotiations

Cases addressing damages calculations, and/or expert theories/testimony, in patent litigation are not covered in this webinar.

Featured Presenter:

Russell Levine is a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he has spent his entire 30+ year career. He focuses his trial, appellate and alternative dispute resolution practice on patent infringement matters and disputes involving and related to technology transfer and patent license agreements. His trial practice includes jury trials, arbitrations and Section 337 proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission. His appellate practice concentrates on appeals in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His technology transfer and licensing practice includes structuring and negotiating both licensing-in and licensing-out transactions.

Note regarding CLE: LES is re-evaluating its policy and procedure as it relates to CLE credits with the intent of increasing what is offered and simplifying the process.  As that effort continues, LES will not be seeking CLE approval for this particular webinar course, but we will return to that practice shortly.
