LES Public Policy Committee Update: The America Invents Act
The LES (USA & Canada) Public Policy Committee works with the LES Board of Trustees to identify and address issues of public policy, legislation, and law as it affects the licensing and commercialization of intellectual property. The committee is responsible for educational outreach, policy statements, amicus curiae briefs, and other statements on issues in which the Society can make a positive and constructive contribution to public discourse. Statements will generally support and promote intellectual property protection and commercialization as it contributes to the betterment of society as a whole.
