This year's Annual Meeting will be held in Chicago on October 22-25. The theme is "Harnessing Change, Advancing Intellectual Business Practices in Today's World." The IP Community is operating in an environment of change ranging from issues related to business practices to political, legislative and judicial unknowns. LES is even experiencing change within our own Society.
This year LES encourages members to submit proposals that embrace the theme of change. One thing, however, is constant, LES's support of a Strong US Patent System through our Society's Mission of being an independent, professional organization that facilitates global IP commerce through education, networking, standards development, and certification.
LES looks forward to a robust set of proposals and thanks you in advance for your time, interest and dedication to the Society. Potential presenters must submit proposals by COB, May 12, 2017 for consideration.
Proposals are being sought for the following elements of the meeting.
I. General Interest Sessions (x15): LES is seeking proposal to fill up to 15 general interest sessions which will include 3 sets of up to 5 concurrent sessions
II. Sector Specific Sessions (x10) LES is seeking proposals to fill up to 10 Sector specific sessions. The final sessions selections will be selected to cover topics of interest to two session per each of the 5 LES sectors (LS, IUGI, HT, CEEM & Consumer Products)
