The IP100 Executive Forum
April 7-8, 2011
Microsoft Corporation Offices
1290 Avenue of the Americas
New York, NY

The IP100 Executive Forum is a groundbreaking invitation-only event, to be held April 7-8 in New York City, will focus primarily on valuation, a topic that is increasingly becoming more crucial to IP professionals who are faced with deals and deal-making opportunities, often while hundreds of millions of dollars a year swing in the balance.

As companies become more IP-centric, the valuation of patents in litigation, or patents potentially to be litigated, continues to be an important issue for IP professionals. Valuation in many forms – including the valuation of software tools; data furnished to customers and competitors; suppliers' IP; IP in M&A transactions; IP between one company and its co-development partners – which could include universities, medical centers and other non-profits; business processes; hardware designs; manufacturing processes and more – is becoming a central concern in IP professionals' lives.

The IP100 aims to address valuation – now the heart of IP management in many companies and core to non-profit licensing offices – from a variety of perspectives of leading industry professionals. The Meeting will feature panel and small, facilitated group discussions, where the emphasis is on peer-to-peer interactions, thought-provoking engagement and valuable take-aways. An advanced three-hour workshop with a focus on valuation in M&A will also be available.
