Dave Lortz has been a Sr. Subcontracts Manager with Rockwell Collins for 19 years in various roles. He is currently the subject matter expert (SME) for NDA negotiation/execution. He is responsible for analyzing incoming IP for use in Rockwell Collins' products. Different roles in which Dave worked while at Rockwell Collins include: in the Software Control Library for 9 years; as a Software Quality Engineer for 6 years; and with Subcontracts for 4 years.

Kellen Sensor joined the UIRF in 2013 as a Licensing Associate. He has extensive experience in negotiating agreements, developing marketing strategies, and assessing commercial viability of technologies. Prior to joining the UIRF, Kellen was a Licensing Associate at the University of Cincinnati’s Intellectual Property Office for four years. He has been designated as a Registered Technology Transfer Professional by the ATTP. Kellen holds an MS in Genetics from Cornell University, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa, and a BA in Biotechnology from the University of Northern Iowa.

Integrated DNA Technologies
Roman Terrill has been at Integrated DNA Technologies since 1998. He manages the U.S. legal and regulatory aspects of IDT’s business, while leading the Company’s intellectual property, IP licensing, environmental health & safety, and quality assurance functions globally. Roman also manages the operation of an $15 million business unit (the GMP Group) that serves customers using oligos for human diagnostic and similar applications. He has also recently assumed responsibility for the direction of IDT’s Third Party Manufacturing and Integrations business. Roman earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Iowa.
