Speakers:

Bill Wesselink
Brewer/Owner

Bill Wesselink is a born lover of the natural world, Bill has long appreciated the prairies, mountains, oceans and deserts. As a hiker, rock climber, and spontaneous adventurer he discovered some of nature’s finest plants: hops, wheat and barley. From home brewing to marriage and kids, Bill continued in his pursuit of what was to become his next great adventure, Dovetail Brewery. To Bill, Dovetail represents all that is good in the world & his thankfulness for it.
Hagen Dost
Brewer/Owner
Hagen Dost spent 20 years in product development, first as a mechanical engineer and then in marketing as a product manager. He was born and raised in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, attended Lane Tech and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. One of his earliest memories is of wine making in his grandparents’ Chicago basement and tasting the fresh pressed grape juice. He has lived in California and Switzerland and has spent an inordinate amount of time exploring the brewing world of continental Europe.
