About this Workshop
This workshop will concentrate on the importance of the alignment of an organizations IA and business/organization strategies. We will present tools and business "speak" you can use to initiate and drive an IA strategy discussion with your organization's leadership and colleagues. Our discussions will center around the use of The Intellectual Asset Management Model Process. The presentation will be followed by an interactive group exercise in which a mock case study will be used to prepare for a licensing negotiation. The exercise will include preparing an IA inventory, IA gap analysis and developing the key strategic objectives to take into the negotiation.
