Join us for a Reception and an Engaging Presentation
Thursday, September 15, 2016
India is the third largest economy in the world in terms of Purchasing Power Parity and is one of the fastest growing large economies. India is also home to more than 300 of the top 1,000 global R&D spending organizations in the world. Yet, a study by WIPO ranks India at 66 among 128 countries (Canada is ranked 15) in the Global Innovation Index. Against this backdrop, the presentation will provide an overview of the IP landscape in India before delving into a detailed discussion on patent procurement and enforcement in India.
