What’s so Big about Big Data?

Ali McKay, Attorney
Megan McKean, Partner, Summit Law Group

You may have heard about “Big Data” and how it’s transforming the technology world. We will present an overview of the legal aspects of “Big Data”: (1) When, from whom and how can you collect data?; (2) How can you store it?; (3) How can you use and sell it?; (4) What should your contracts say about data? While these topics could cover an entire day-long CLE, we will provide you with the key issues to spot when you are dealing with “Big Data”.
