TITLE
Best Practices in Patent Monetization - Making Your IP a Profit Center

SPEAKER
Steve Taylor, Principal Manager, IPStrom

DESCRIPTION
With the large growth in IP transactions and deals, companies are now looking to create stronger ROI from their IP portfolios. As a result, IP leaders are being held more accountable for the revenue generated from their portfolios that would otherwise sit on the shelf.  Ideally, companies begin their monetization process by further developing their IP portfolios. Techniques such as brainstorming, patent mapping, core technology charting, filing decisions and continuance planning are some of the methods used to prepare for an IP monetization. This seminar will explain and address the key techniques that are useful in developing an IP monetization strategy that meets your business goals.
