This presentation will focus on: patent reform (where things stand, and where they are likely to go); the overall climate for patent enforcement; the rise of the PTAB as a new litigation forum for accused infringers; and, trends in NPE litigation.

SPEAKER BIO
Neal Slifkin is leader of Harris Beach’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, and co-leader of the Internet Law Practice Group. He also serves on the Science and Technology, Telecommunications and Media, and Food and Beverage Industry Teams. Neal has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America and is included in the upstate New York edition of New York Super Lawyers. Neal regularly litigates all types of intellectual property actions including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade dress infringement actions. Neal also serves as local counsel in numerous intellectual property actions pending in the United States District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of New York.
