DESCRIPTION
In this talk, Russell E. Levine will identify what he considers to be the "Top 10 Court Cases of 2015 Affecting Licensing", and he will discuss the implications of those decisions on the drafting and negotiating of license agreements. Russell is a past-president of LES (USA and Canada), and his extremely-popular "Year's Top 10 Court Decisions Affecting Licensing" workshop at LES annual meetings each year is consistently standing room only.

SPEAKER BIO
Russell E. Levine
is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago, where he has spent his entire 29+ year career. He focuses his jury trial, bench trial and alternative dispute resolution practice on patent infringement matters and disputes involving and related to technology transfer and patent license agreements. His technology transfer practice includes structuring and negotiating both licensing-in and licensing-out transactions. Russell is the immediate past-president of LES (USA & Canada). He has received numerous accolades for his IP practice, including being named for several years running in the IAM Patent 1000: The World's Leading Patent Practitioners and IAM Strategy 300: The World's Leading IP Strategists. He also won the International Law Office 2012 Client Choice Award in Litigation for the U.S.
