Daphne Higgs
Daphne Higgs is a senior associate in Perkins Coie's Licensing and Technology practice. She counsels private and public companies on complex technology transactions, with a particular focus on intellectual property, privacy and open source. Daphne has drafted and negotiated numerous technology and content licenses as well as development, distribution, manufacturing, affiliate, reseller and marketing agreements. She regularly advises clients with respect to intellectual property protection and commercialization strategies, open source policies, privacy issues and social media matters. Daphne has led clients in the cloud services, open source, digital media, interactive entertainment, apparel, software, hardware and consumer e-commerce sectors through hundreds of transactions ranging from basic click-through to multi-tiered international agreements. She also provides strategic intellectual property, privacy and data protection advice with respect to M&A and venture capital transactions.
Jim Jensen
Mr. Jensen is a partner with Perkins Coie's Emerging Companies practice. He advises startup and emerging growth companies at all stages of development and assists investor clients with angel, venture capital and private equity financings in the United States and China and investors with investment fund formation and operations. He also advises clients on business solutions, such as board management and strategic combinations, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings.
