TOPIC
The Impact of Patent Reform on Technology Transfer
DESCRIPTION
The Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA) represents sweeping patent reform legislation, most notably from a “first-to-invent” to a “first-inventor-to-file” system. There are, additionally, significant provisions of the law that will directly impact technology transfer practices and strategies. This timely panel discussion will feature thought leaders from research, development and industry who will offer their insights on where we are headed.
